J. Drew Zimmer
Drew holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. He earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law and his Bachelor’s degree from Union University. Drew is also a veteran of the U.S. Army and was deployed in 2004 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Drew works on renewable energy law with solar energy developers and commercial lenders on rooftop and ground mount solar projects in all stages of development, construction, operation, and sale or acquisition of the system. He has a background in commercial litigation that allows him to identify potential issues during the contracting and due diligence phases of development thereby mitigating or avoiding conflicts before they occur.
Additionally, Drew manages the firm’s litigation and probate practice. He is a passionate and determined advocate. Whenever possible, he seeks expedient resolution of his client’s disputes through alternative dispute resolution practices such as mediation or arbitration.
When he’s not at the office, Drew can likely be found at a Nashville SC game or training jiu-jitsu at a local BJJ gym.
