Gloria Crawford joined Lodestone Legal Group in 2019 to work in the firm’s bankruptcy and health care practice areas. Gloria attended DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, where she was an active member of the Michael and Mary Jaharis Health Law Institute, a staff editor on the DePaul Journal of Healthcare Law, President of the Black Law Students Association, and a member of the Vis International Moot Court team. During her third year she was selected to participate in the school’s Affordable Housing and Community Development Legal Clinic, which functioned as her “law school residency.” She was also chosen to study abroad at the Universidad de Havana, where she learned the intricacies and complexities of setting up a U.S. business on the island of Cuba. Prior to law school Gloria worked as a paralegal in downtown Chicago. She has extensive experience in a number of practice areas including: bankruptcy, family law, professional reasonability, and intellectual property litigation.
Gloria’s practice philosophy began to develop while she was a paralegal. She believes that an integral aspect of her job as an attorney is to provide her clients honest advice so that they may choose the path in which to facilitate the best resolution possible to their issues. She also strives to ensure that the attorney-client interactions leave the client feeling that they are a priority, and that they were treated with the utmost integrity.
In her spare time Gloria enjoys spending time with her two Yorkies – Dizzy and Louie, reading, cooking, traveling, football, fashion, attending concerts, and spending time with her family and friends that live throughout the country.
