Tennessee’s Katie Beckett Program Receives Federal Approval by Gloria Crawford

Starting on November 23, 2020, TennCare and the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) will begin accepting referrals for the Katie Beckett Program (the “Program”). Under the Program, children with disabilities and/or complex medical needs that are not currently Medicaid eligible, because of their parents’ income or assets, may now receive coverage if they qualify for the Program.
